It costs money to maintain and dismantle Olympic-related facilities, whether postponed or canceled.
The IOC will be considering it again in October, so maybe a tour to see the limited scenery after that.

President Bach of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced that the Tokyo Olympics will be canceled if it is next year. If this happens, the temporary sports facilities constructed exclusively for the Olympic Games will be dismantled without even seeing the light of day. So I cycled through the facilities that might be a “phantom legacy”.
